I know this may sound terribly elementary, but how do I maintain the original image for publication while at the same time adding a batch action to those same images for viewing by a client? It seems I should copy originals to a separate folder then run the action on that folder. Is this the appropriate way to do this?

Thank you for the tut. I am about to click the go ahead on about 300 scanned slides I have to have in a movie format by the afternoon on X-Mas. Did a couple already as a test run. You can also kill some time using the Images Processor. Very cool and Photoshop is worth the cash. Thanks
