Creation Of The FrankenStrat

Just put together a quick slide of all the pictures I got when I made my FrankenStrat Replica.
I took the audio from my Panama video and put it into the slide.

So my Uncle told one of his friends about our idea of trying to make our own Eddie Van Halen replica guitar, and he told us he had two old guitars he never used anymore. One was a Squier Stratocastor, and the other was just some "No" name guitar.

The Squire is basically a Fender, it's an older model Squire, so it was made with all Fender parts, except it isn't called a Fender because it was assembled in Korea.

We strated our project on the Squire, we gave it a paintjob, swapped the pickup, put in a new volume pot, etc.

We took some parts from the "No" name like the dummy tone selector switch, the dummy pickup, dummy wires, the pickguard, and thats about it.

In total this project only cost us $150, because my Uncle's buddy gave us those two guitars for free.
The $150 includes the new pickup, the spray paint, the eye hooks, and everything that we spent on this project.

At the end I just put some clips from my other videos of me using the FrankenStrat.

heey dude this is great stuff.. lsiten can you tell me what spray paint(its type or something) for the pickguard.. cause im gonna spray my pickguard and i dont want to get all ruined becuase of the spray. thanks man

Umm, I can't remember exactly what type of spraypaint it was, I think it was truck paint?

Anyways, I'll ask my Uncle if he remembers and then I'll message you back.
