  • nice. i think if the helicopter was leaning forwards it would represent the motion of a helicopter better and i think the sound faded abit to quick. but still very nice

  • @CQCreaper Thanks a lot

  • I think it's a good start.

Try adding motion blur on your chopper blades, to give look of real shutter on a camera.

Background is cool too. looks very threatening.

  • @joeym4130 thanks, yeah actaully i uploaded a new video in which i used motion blur , but unfortunately you tube blocked my video saying that there is copyright issue. :(

  • Looks like shit...ugly as hell!

  • Cool but it looks like the heli is going at a crazy angle upwards.. Unless thats what your trying to get at

  • The Only Good Thing Is the City :((

  • looks great! Maybe you could have it move in the direction of the ground plane though? That makes it look more like the background is there, instead of an image. But still amazing!

  • you are a worse animator! :D srry nice begin :P

  • the whole thing doesnt look "too" bad, but the way the heli flies right through the cam... i beg you pardon...

  • Boooooooooooring..

  • Also you should make some bump maps to bring out the lighting and add subtle more complex texture to the model. Oh and one other thing about the animation, it's movement should also not be smooth.

For the instant it flies through the camera you should have the view blackout until the model has completely cleared the camera (So that there's no model chopping going on) and when you come out make sure you make it a very quick fade out, so it appears more natural.

Work with that and it'll be great

  • Theres a number of things you'll need to do to get this looking right. Let's start with the animation itself.

First, the blades aren't spinning nearly fast enough, they also should have motion blur on them.

Secondly the helicopter should be leaning forwards, Helicopters don't fly forwards by being levels, They "lean" in the direction theyre going

    Now texturing.

First get SOME textures on there, remember the little things like warning signs and little lights and stuff help sell it (continued)

  • @tommhustler thanks
