hey alfred, i see you do not use any midi in/out cables, so i guess you do not actually make electronic music but you make impromptu improvisation/ live show music fro your shows? (i've never followed you so i don't know what you do in your live streams)

@lucadepu Hi - actually, there is quite a bit of MIDI gear. Search for a video of mine with the title keywords 'The Gear Head', and you'll get a partial idea of what I'm talking about. Also look for the Korg OASYS unboxing video as well. I hope you enjoy the content! - Alfred

@adiblasi i've seen the delicious oasys and man are you a lucky dude. So then i see that you do have midi gear, hence the question, how do you mix/ send all the midi and audio to your mothership/mac since we all know we have limited usb ports and one audio jack

@lucadepu I have 3 MOTU 24 I/O's and a Motu 308. All 4 interfaces are tied to a DSP board in the PowerMac G5 (aka "Melody"). Every synth is 'on line' and routable. MOTU's Digital Performer is the DAW used to bring it all together. It's an incredibly complex setup, taking several months to wire, document and test. It spawned from my personal desire to 'collect synthesizers', and then, not really planned, a studio was born.
You'll be hearing more of the audio output soon. Stay tuned.
