Once, there was a one-time engineer who quit his job to become a comedian. After failing miserably, and with him being bankrupted and a pregnant wife at home, he turns to the mob for cash, but on the heist on his factory's night, he receives word that his wife and unborn child have died. He tries to back out, until the mob pressures him back into keeping his promise. At the factory, an encounter with batman and an accidental chemical bath drive him insane and turns him into the joker.
