No offense to anyone, I want an 08 gti as another car (first choice) however; all I hear is how poorly build the cars are over and over from vw owners. No matter what I google the first thing that pops up is reliablity issues and electrical problems. One vw owner stated "Buy one and you'll find out why you see them at first and as the years pass they disappear". When I first looked in ebay I consistantly see 2-3 owner for every vw car. I love the design and performance though.

@BovRider what??? are you crazy??? have you ever drive a nissan 350 and a Golf GTI??? how can you say that a "normal hatchback" with a big engine is much more fun than a REAL sport car, with a great chassis and RWD?? Quality on the GTI is better, you're right, but not about drive. If you want to drive, you chose a Nissan 350, if you want a "faschion" car, you chose the GTI.
