You have a nice looking reef tank there! I currently have a 28 gallon tank with about 18 lbs of live rock. I'm having trouble with them right now, some of my rock is turning white like a chalk. If you take a look at my video and see what is going on and some advice. Thanks!

ok so 48 watts of PC is 4 watts per gallon exactly and i have a 10 gallon tank with 40 watts which is 4 watts per gallon (PC, half daylight half actinic) do you think a condy anemone could work in that tank, and do condys dig there base into the ground? and is there a way for my to keep it from stingin corals? like i could put my corals in this little thing that hangs on the side of the tank until the anemone finds a comfy place?

It should be fine if your aquarium is established. meaning > 8 months. Typically anemone like to walk all over the aquarium when there is a lack of flow.
the thing hanging is a frag rack i assume, so it should work. anemone rarely stay on glass unless the rock isn;t high to provde it with proper lighting.
About your PC fixture. if the bulbs are old, i would recommend you change them.

i didnt know damsels will host anemones, i kno that clownfish r damsels but i didnt know a damsel would sometimes have a symbiotic relationship with an anemone, and how often does ur anemone move cus i was thinkin abt gettin 1 for my clowns but i know if i do it might move and sting any of my other corals (not getting anything until i get new lighting)

Sorry for the late reply, but I have had my anemone for 4 months under PC lighting. And its great. The color is strong green,
I have Nanocube 12 with 48 watts of PC. i just swaped my bulbs from Nanotuners and it should provide better PAR for the anemone. BTA i have a RBTA and a GBTA in the same tank with Monti Cap and hundreds of zoas

Hey northstar, is that a Damsel hosting that anemone? I had Damsel in my tank and it was 6 months of terror. That bugger killed everything in my tank and was very territorial. Everything looks good so far after the crash. Good luck...

Thanks, yes that damsel hosting my anemone. i took it out yesterday and it caused a heck of a problem in my tank. Took me 1/2 hour to take it out. had to completely remove everything in my tank. Now i am going to cure my fish and my tank. so i am starting over again.
