The television commercial "Safari" was part of the Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association's (UNICA) "Ethanol: an intelligent attitude" 2008 marketing campaign. The goal of this campaign was to associate ethanol use with other sustainable activities, like tree planting and recycling. The campaign used different media outlets, such as magazines, radio, television, movies, and internet to show that not only does ethanol provide a financial benefit in comparison to gas, but that it also generates benefits for the environment.
