Portable sound/vocal/recording booth product review and NRC (noise reduction coefficient) specs of different thicknesses and types of 2" and 3" acoustic wedge and pyramid foam. This is a rigid booth design that uses two different acoustic foam thicknesses to absorb vocal reflections so home recordings sound like studio recordings. The bottom of the booth has acoustical foam to act as a form of isolation to "decouple" the booth/mic and table surfaces....

  • This unit kicks ass. I just received mine and ran a number tests using a condenser studio mic, recording into a Zoom H4N. It took out virtually all the ambient noise and unwanted room reverb, leaving a warm, booth-like sound. Great piece of equipment!
