many great musicians were ignored in their own time and revered after their death, many have been thought great only to be forgotton, few were recognized as great while they yet lived and after death, bernstein certainly falls in this third category.

As a music student at a University, I am sad to say that it is almost impossible to find a teacher who will truly teach MUSIC such as this example here. These four minutes are gold. Very inspiring.

Bernstein was, above all, I think an amazing teacher, even through his examples of conducting, compositions, and obviously his writings.

Thank goodness for musicians such as Bernstein. Where would music be without people such as Bernstein?
