  • @ImplodedToad I think Forgive & forget has something to it. It is maybe about focus. Spend time thinking about the things you enjoy, stuff that inspires. I agree with Barbara Crafton about that point. Maybe thought is habitual ? Think positive.

  • I think the key is to speak about events in terms of your emotions rather than name calling / metaphor. I'm really embarrassed by what I did. I hate that I did that. I'm upset by what she said to me. He was livid about what I did. I regret doing that, I wish I hadn't . I must not do that again, I must try to do this...instead. I hate what you did there, please don't do that again. Please take more care. I didn't mean to do that. I shouldn't have done that. i'm going to aim to be careful
