This is a demonstration of the problem I am having with my new Korg M50-61.

Please excuse the fact that I have no idea how to play keys, this is my first keyboard.

If you have any idea what is wrong, please help me out!

  • You don't have a bug or software glitch. The program is monophonic and the key follow or tracking generator (I forget what it is on Korg) is triggering a new multisample when the filter opens up. That's why it only happens when you sweep from low to high. Change the setting to polyphonic in Program mode and it will stop. By the way, we synth players LOVE glitches when we find them. Anything that makes us feel smarter than the programmer. We're all quite insecure.

  • Its monophonic u must turn it for polyphonic mode

  • Its a mono sound and by using the sustain pedal its screwing things up. Yes it shouldn't do it, but don't use the sustain pedal for an arpeggio. You've got both hands, work on making your technique more fluid instead ;)

  • I think it is a Korg problem... My X50 fucks up in that way too...

  • my friend no problem, just go to the website and update your korg korg version 1.0.1 the new 1.0.5 ok
