  • i always cannot stand stable for the keumgang makki..can anyone tell me what should i do to stable myself?

  • @vmi02raven Hmm I never thought about that. I also do not know much about the language, however I did learn how to read Korean. It would be interesting to know if the letters are based on anything, like if they have meaning. They probably do to some degree.

  • @TkdArtist92 I knew they had an alphabet like script, but I didn't know that much about the language to know if the letters themselves were original letters not based on anything else or if the "alphabet" was formed from something else like the chinese characters.

  • @vmi02raven You're right, and the double block that is done in this video is actually called a "full mountain"(as opposed to the "half mountain" done in an Tae Geuk Pal Jang, a lower belt form in Taekwondo). However, the Korean language uses an alphabet. No symbols unlike Japanese or Chinese!

  • Even though keumgang means "daimond" I just realized something interesting about the pattern of the form, shown completly at 2:48. The pattern forms the same symbol for "yama" or "mountain" in Japanese. Keumgang is a mountain of the Taebek mountain range. I wish I knew the Korean script to see what the symbol for "mountain" is.

  • This is the best video on keumgang that I have ever seen. I have been practicing at home , trying to get ready for my 2nd dan, This video has helped me very much ! Thank you for posting this video.
