It is a light infantry tank. It was reliable and the Soviets liked it for that.

@stockcar269s The Valentine tanks were designed and made here in Newcastle England. Armstrong works in Elswick produced them and the factory still builds and services fighting vehicles to this day. I live close to the factory.

Im in The States, I saw my first Valentine in Borden Canada in April 2009.

We had one in the War memorial park in the town where i grew up in New Zealand, the Army came in about 1980 and removed its original turret for the Army museum, When i last visited the town in 2004, the Valentine and the 2 Howitzers in the park had been removed, no one seems to know where they ended up, I hope the District Council didnt sell them for scrap, but seeing as councils are the same the world over they probably did

we had that after ww1 a load of towns were given an early tank as a memorial than loads of them got cut up for scrap and now thers one left up in a northern city
