Did you make friends with people rather easily on the tour? And was there a lot of drinking and partying involved? I'm planning on going within the next year or two.

Yeah mate, making friends was real easy. A fair majority of the people on tour were travelling by themselves and are always keen to meet new people and make new friends. Drinking took up most of my time on the tour, didnt have time for a hangover. or the eiffle tower. or colleseum. but in every tour there will be people who will be keen to party, and people who are to sight see. and some people are just confused about what they want :)
