Check out the 2nd part of our 4 part series where we take a stock 2011 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 Automatic and turn it into the V6 we guarantee nobody will want to mess with! We'll be building this project car up in 4 Stages of modifications, so follow along...

Stage 2 Modifications:

• Ford Racing 3.73 Gears (11-12 V6) - http://muscle.am/pQHz1V
• Eaton Limited Slip Differential 31 Spline 8.8in - http://muscle.am/n2RUag
• Matte Black Hash Marks (79-12) - http://muscle.am/qOBQJQ
• Matte Black Rocker Stripes (79-12 All) - http://muscle.am/qSAoek
• Staggered Black Machined GT500 Wheel & NITTO Tire Kit - 18x9/10 (10-12) - http://muscle.am/nuDe2F
• Borla ATAK Axle-Back Exhaust (11-12 V6) - http://muscle.am/ounil7

In our first stage, we showed you how easy it was to add horsepower and drop over a half second at the track! In Stage 2, we added Ford Racing gears as well as an Eaton limited slip differential to help us better disperse that horsepower and torque evenly to the ground. You can see that we were able to pick up a few more tenths at the 1/4 mile. Not only does the car perform better, it has no problem laying down some rubber compared to the burnout in stock and Stage 1 form in the last video!

In order to accent the great factory styling, we added side scoops and louvers in Stage 1. To keep the theme going in Stage 2, we added a new set of Matte Black Rocker Stripes and Hash Marks, plus some bad-ass 2010 GT500 wheels and tires, staggered fitment, so that we could hook even more at the track!

  • So you take a car that has world class fuel economy for 350Z beating performance...and kill it with a 3.73 ratio and replace a nice exhaust with some carbureted V8 sound from the 90s? No thanks, 5.1 seconds to 60 is plenty fast enough for 30mpg...Apparently these guys don't have to think about gas prices...I'll bet a factory GT gets better economy than this when they're done with it...

  • @yellowmusicfreak The only thing we did the entire time that negatively impacted gas mileage were the gears. The rest of the mods actually added fuel economy. At the end of the day, our gas mileage is within about 2mpg from what you'd see on a stock V6 auto. Even with our Procharger, when you're not in boost, it's as efficient as the factory system. Sound is a taste/preference thing, so we could never make everyone happy. You can get exhausts for this thing from mild to wild!

  • Nice performance from a sixxer! What did the 3.73's do to the gas mileage?

  • @dateef Our 3.73 gears were more than enough to get us the increase in power that we were looking for, without sacrificing economy. This 6-Speed Automatic transmission helps us keep the RPMs nice and low for highway cruising, but bites hard in every gear at the track!

  • These video's suck cause there so short and there nothing more then some sort clips and some talking. They show nothing good really, At least show the install's and use the time youtube gives you.

I can go anywhere on Youtube and watch a car race down a track and rev its motor.

Also them stripes would look better if they were wider and on both side's regardless of what they meant back in the day.

  • @yellowmusicfreak fuck the gas prices if u wanna save on gas ride a bike. Really who wants a v6 muatang thats Kelly Bundy a dumb chick with a nice body!

  • @americanmusclevideos I agree its funny when people talk about things they don't know haha. Someone tried to tell me my JLT intake and bama tune would kill gas mileage. Ignorant people.

  • what's a limmited slip differential?

  • The sixxer is no joke, the power these things are putting down with a bit of upgrade is incredible. Check out my vid to see dyno test of the 5.0 with a few bolt-ons to compare. Nice work AM!

  • @Trane821 fuck off jew

  • I despise the pipes you guys decided to put on there. Poor choice, in my opinion.

I don't know, maybe the video doesn't give them justice but, as Trane said, they made it sound like a ricer.

  • lol 13.37 in the quarter. must be no gamers here
