Railroading in the Space Age is nowhere as graphically portrayed, as on the railroad which serves this county's premier rocket launching site. The air Force space complex at Cape Canaveral could not conduct its vibrant space program without its railroad to deliver rocket engines, components, fuel, and other materials.

In a land of alligators and swamps on central Florida's Atlantic Coast, the 40 mile NASA Railroad serves as the connection for America's Spaceport to America's Railroads. We take a never before seen behind-the-scenes look at rails that serve rockets. We ride the trains. We pace them from the air.

The spectacular space shuttle launches which are possible only with the support of the railroad are graphically shown. We also see scenes from space and incredible aerial views of the Space Center and the railroad.
