Everyone has their take on how the Bonham half-time shuffle should be played. This is from the man himself. John Bonham's drum track on Led Zeppelin's Fool in the Rain

True Story: In 1969, Bonzo saw that all the big rock drummers like Ginger Baker and Donzo's drinking buddy Keith Moon were playing with 2 bass drums to give double-kicks to their bombastic sound, especially live shows. Bonzo went to Peter Grant, their tight-fisted manager and asked Grant for an extra 50 dollars to buy a second bass drum. Grant, always a quick-thinker told Bonzo, "You get more sound out of one bass drum than they'll ever get out of 2. They would need 3 feet to equal your 2."

If it isn't, it's bloody close! Personally I'd like a bit more colour on the kick.

Yup I found these too some years ago. It's something like 23 separate files altogether that I know of. Some of them are titled as unknown outtakes. johnbonham.co.uk/downloads/track-names.html
