Underneath This Smile: Not A Fairytale
Chapter 5
His hand was still in mine and we quickly went back into the kitchen looking
at the mess.
The door opened and I wasn't sure who let go of who but we were not holding hands any more not that that was a big suprise
I saw Jeremy walk in with a box of donuts
He walked towards the kitchen and I couldn't believe the mess I had just made
"dude they had sprinkled choclate on choclate man" Jeremy said looking in the box of donuts
"woah!" he said as he came around the corner seeing the mess
I kinda smiled and bit my lip looking at him
He looked in shock and I wasn't sure how he was going to react I never knew how anyone was going to react anymore, I started to say something but before I could he started laughing so hard I thought he was going to drop the donuts.
Me and Joe looked at each other and started laughing along I had no idea what I looked like but if it was anything close to how Joe looked who couldn't laugh we were white from head to toe.
Jeremy sat the donuts on the bar still laughing he walked towards us stepping over a big pile of the baking powder that was on the floor.
Jeremy smiled at me messing up my hair
"Is that my kid sister finally laughing again" he said wrapping his arm around me
I smiled over at Joe at winked at him, and he must have got the hint because he started walking towards the sink
"Its your night to clean up!" I said moving out from under his arm
Joe sprayed Jeremy with the house and he just stood there as we all laughed.
We all cleaned up and got to dinner leaving the mess on the floor.
After dinner Jeremy and Joe were picking a movie as I examined the mess in the kitchen
It was a friday so Jeremy should be home late so we would be able to clean it up after the movie.
The door flew open and I turned around to see who it was
Dave walked in the house and slammed the door behind him he looked around the room
"whos your friend Jeremy?" he said throwing his jacket on the couch
Jeremy and Joe both looked at me and back at Dave
"Uh Joe I met him and thought we could hang out for awhile..." Jeremy said going through the movies again
"did you guys save me some dinner" he said walking towards the kitchen.
(Kevins P.O.V)
I walked into the diner and there she was as every friday night. If I could get up some nerve to ask her out maybe she would actually say yes
She saw me and smiled we had been friends sense high school, but she always seemed to be some other guy other than me.....Kate was perfect to me, but tonight I hoped I could be perfect to her, I was gonna see what she was doing after her shift.
Joe's phone started to ring, and he answered it
"Dave you know I could just bring you your dinner out there" I said pointing to the couch
he walked right into the kitchen
"What did you guys do!!" he yelled
"hey Kay I gotta go I forgot I was suppose to pick up Nick tonight" Joe said walking towards the kitchen
"okay man see you later" Jeremy quickly said
I waved to him and he smiled and left
"you guys are so immature! You trashed the kitchen!" Dave yelled walking back past me
"cant you just..take care of your selfs for a few hours!" he said pushing Jeremy out of his way and walking towards his room.
"dude we just had some fun, Kay was laughing, its okay to have a good time eveyr now and-" Jeremy started
"Jeremy shut up okay its time to face things! grow up" Dave yelled slamming his door
"and were immature" JEremy said turning back towards me rolling his eyes
"Why's he gotta be like that?" I asked
"I dont know Kay, I guess he just thinks he needs to be the boss" Jeremy said walking towards the kitchen.

i really like this series too. it would be nice tho if the girl had a different name than the girl in the other series, a real life fairy tale. just a suggestion. I LOVE IT THO!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are such a talented writer
