Friends of the San Antonio native are still shocked.SOT: It just hurts, I tell my kids everytime he gets hits. It hurts me when they hit him, but this is so much worseSOT:We were really excited to see him. He was excited for this fight. Just to see him collapse was devastating. The fight's promoter says doctors had to remove the left side of a part of Diaz's cranium to get the swelling down. Ron Katz says Diaz was NOT breathing on his own after the surgery.SOT: We literally saved his life with this surgery But the doctor who performed the surgery says boxers are always putting their health at risk.SOT: Professional boxers end up with punch drunk syndrome. They look like they have Parkinson's disease Fight promoters say there was no indication anything was wrong with Diaz before he collapsed. You honestly wouldn't get your head knocked around for money? Look at Pacquaio , he made 20 million this past saturday just for getting his head knocked around

  • @djpichon7 it's a coping mechanism. They are just trying to deal with the traumatic event the best they can.

  • why is every body in the video laughing D : is it a joke or what D :? thats crazy D :

  • @donee1000 That's "you're"

  • @DevilTriggerSix08 you-re so funny

  • Who the fuck said: boxing is good for your health? Its fighting, and pro boxing is fighting for money, its dangerous as hell, what is this fucking discussion about

  • Well his opponent must have been relieved, easiest win he's ever gonna get.

  • It cant be in the same category as hitting after the bell if the fight hasn't stopped. Hitting after the bell is illegal. But to kill your opponent in the ring without cheating is perfectly legal. Once the fight starts and punches are thrown, whether consciously or not, both fighters are going to try to kill their opponent. Sure it's wrong but nobody thinks about that when the fight starts. Thinking of killing your opponent is simply being aware of what can happen. And it CAN go either way

  • Ali and Meldrick Taylor are the most glaring examples I can think of, when it comes to brain damage from boxing. But, there are thousands of others. It is not a YES or NO thing. Getting hit in the head is going to kill brain cell. It just depends on how many are killed and what other damage happens to your brain.

  • But since you fail to understand, I'll simplify this for your punch-drunk brain: if someone pisses you off in or out of the ring/cage/mat- don't sink to their level. The perfect revenge against them is making them watch the referee raise your hand in victory.
