DRGW had a excellent reputation for keeping up their units mechanically.

@entubenot D&RGW 3081 was painted in as "Sierra Pacific" (silver with red lettering) for use in the filming of the 1973 made-for-TV movie "Runaway!". D&RGW GP30 3011 and D&RGW GP35 3032 were also painted as "Sierra Pacific" (black with orange lettering).

I miss the Rio Grande. I did get to photograph some Tunnel motors at Burnham last year. Unfortunatly, they were patched and either being sold or scrapped.
