why does amtrak run a 10 car set with the great doam on the surfline like that only every so often? it would seem like a good train set to always have running.

@MrZkr123 This would be the very same. This is the only dome car currently running on AMTK. It is usually on the east coast Sept-Oct., surfliner 799/798/792 during thanksgiving, the Levenworth Snow train in Wash. in December, the Reno Fun train in Jan/feb. and back to Surfliner Service in July-Aug.

@Yzerfan55 not true at all, they use one on the Adirondack service in the fall usually. Usually from i believe Albany up to Montreal.
