what generator did you use???
-
@watchthemoviefitna what size generator were you using?
-
That's epic, i'm going to try it as well.

good job :)

We did one with blades cut from duct and we just could not get enough speech to generate sufficient power. We were able to gain turn to power a car battery but only that. Better than nothing!

try putting it onto the corner of the house, the wind coming in towards the wall are collected and passed on to your wind turbine.

... funny thing about turbines of this type- they develope
a very strong rotational torque, which can be directed
down the axis and into a sailing vessels' keel thus
moving the boat foreward...

It´s easy and excellent idea and very cheap. Thank you for de idea.

Did you use 6" or 8" diameter PVC? Very cool stuff. I think I might have to try making one of those on the porch with a wood frame like yours.

I used 6'' pvc for the blades, it seemed to work well for me. Thank you for the question and good luck with your turbine.
