Hmmm I'm not sure about the tuning on this one. It seems like he's playing in a lower key than usual... maybe half a step lower? Which would explain the re-tune 46 seconds in of the 1st string, since it would be tuned down to B...

right at 1:33 he blows his own mind(gets a hgh) with that "times" technique he recognized. To create/perfect your mistakes, from the sound that just happened or as its happening or ivision the second before of how you want it to sound. Live is the best quality in music.

Oh, totally awesome!!! Any idea about when these were taped? Looks like it mut have been near the end of his life.
I always liked that his performances changed and evolved over the years. He worked many of his compositions through different tempos and feels - it's just great to hear all of the different versions. This one seemed to get more ferocious over time.
