Some of the top equine talent in the nation made the scene at the Colonial Downs Race Track in New Kent County tonight.
They were here for the $500,000 dollar Colonial Turf Cup.
Eclipse award winning jockeys Edgar Prado and Ramon Dominguez flew in for the race, along with Rajiv Maragh and Corey Nakatani.
Also on board were some of the nations best turf horses, such Moryba, Smart Bid and Court Vision, representing top trainers like Graham Motion and Dale Romans.
The race was won by Colonial Downs regular rider Sheldon Russell aboard Rahystrada. Russell was a multiple winner on Saturday's card and says this is one of the high points of his racing career.
