http://www.v8tvshow.com - Our 1965 Chevelle is going to have a Vintage Air a/c system installed, so we decided to use their FrontRunner serpentine accessory drive system on the engine. This system not only provides a mount for the air conditioning compressor, but it is also a slick mount for the alternator and power steering pump with a new-style serpentine belt for more efficient operation. The main truss mounts to the block and not the heads or intake, so all the belt driven parts line up perfectly. Here's how the system installs.
Looks good, but man that's a lot of stuff to take off if you need to change the water pump. I like the stock GM serpentine setup, nothing bolts to the water pump, and you can change it in under an hour.

It's actually not too bad, you just pop the belt, loosen the 4 stud nuts, and disconnect the alternator wiring and you can slide the truss off, then the water pump hoses and the water pump slides off. You may have to pull the radiator for clearance. But it's simple to work on.
