You're right -- instead we should judge him on the fact he's a convicted child rapist, not because he's bald.

Just to be clear....the phrase "convicted child rapist" is an opinion, and is not an established legal fact.

@jfddoc He was charged with having sex with a 12 year old. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and spent four months in prison. He pleaded because he knew that if it went to jury, he would be convicted. Respectfully, it's not an opinion. It's a fact.

@jfddoc Then most of the articles out there about this have it wrong then. They use the phrase "pleaded guilty to a lesser charge" in many of them. I can only go by what I read, respectfully of course. Scott is a very good actor, but sex with a 12 year old? It's kind of a career smasher. The 51 year old actor who just married the 16 year old has been dropped kicked by everyone who represented him in Hollywood. Sex and drugs are almost a given of those in Hollywood, but sex with kids? No.

...the people who have commented on Scott's look - I hope you look the same as you did 15 years ago when Lonesome Dove first came out -- I wouldn't be the first to cast a stone.  And secondly, it's a sad, sad, sad world we live in when 1) we judge everyone and everything based on hair, weight, etc... and 2) we live in a country where most people find forgiveness and love and compassion so hard. Scott is a great guy that's what I see in my friend hair or weight - til we can all walk on water

@Vulcanscienceacademy You know the girl was 17 when she made those claims right? So what makes you so sure everything was truthful? If I was a mother and knew Scott personally I would have no fears with leaving my child alone with him. Why are you even on here if you don't like him?

@AmericanMovieFan He is not a pedophile!! He is still attractive. If you've seen anything up to date of him you'd see that he's gotten in shape and he looks handsome as hell. He does music because he wants too, not because he's trying to stay relevant.

@jfddoc In a criminal court an Alford Plea holds the same effect as a guilty plea. The Alford plea means he concedes the he would be convicted of the statutory rape charges based on the evidence, but he still claims his innocence. So technically he did submit a guilty plea to a lesser charge to avoid the rape conviction.
