Tequila Slammer

Tommy plays both parts in this piece of very unique video artistry. I love the way this maintains the two angles and doesn't jump around shot wise. You really get a good look at his hand technique. But also note his 'feel' and dynamics. Nice crescendo and "Ole" at the end!! I can taste the Tequila...!! "eh Manuel, hoppy hoppy grasshopper"......Played superbly as usual....

It's a Maton. I think it's the Tommy Emmanuel model in the early years... check other videos for a better look.

Haha, finally a song that tommy cannot do both parts at once. I bet he could learn both parts at once though. He is a guitar GOD.

why would you want the tabs? its not that hard to learn by year...

hes got other songs which are way harder.

to the man who said tommy has always used maton that statement its completely incorrect. Both Tommy and Phil Emmanuel for years have used both fender and Takimane guitars. Tommy only came back to maton in the early 80's. Tequila Slammer is on the Dare To Be Different album. This album was his sencond solo release in australia.
