Sally Mann is acknowledged as one of America's finest and most controversial photographers. In this video, from the documentary film, What Remains: The Life and Work of Sally Mann, she discusses her work and her project examining death and decay. Sensitive or squeamish viewers should be aware that there are very graphic scenes in this video although not in Part 1. Part 1 of 3
@marshamk I'm not sure of the brands of cameras that she uses but I might be able to tell if I looked carefully. However, they are old 8x10" and larger cameras. The camera she uses inside for close-up portraits is a 16x20" or 20x24" portrait camera. Sally is clearly not overly concerned with equipment. She uses what gives her the results she strives for. She uses old flawed lenses for much her work. I'm sure she has numerous cameras.
