Active Worlds Time-Lapse, High-Visibility Video Test #2

This is the second test. It's full 1080p so please make sure to select that on the video, then watch in full screen to get the closest to the original quality.

Thanks to Tess for suggesting the idea to use screenshots instead of video to record this. It's a 5-hour exposure with one screenshot taken every 4 seconds. I used the same motion path as the one presented in the first test (located here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCradSuypNQ), but it's no longer framed properly due to how AW renders different window sizes. However, you can see that this has a lot of promise for a future SW City video. Water now shows up, the frame rate is smooth, and you can actually see more than blobs now. :P

Love it. I'm wondering tho.. I have lag issues here, so I'm not sure if the choppiness was on my end or in the video. I took into account that its done with screenshots taken every 4 seconds and I can imagine how time consuming that was. The graphics are gorgeous however!!! They show up soooooo much better in this video. I wonder if its possible to capture the amazing detail in the builds while filming a movie. I know loading is an issue and z-buffering. I wish I had the tech savvy to do it.

@Thelioness62 It's probably on your end, as the video runs very smooth. Try running it at a lower resolution instead of full 1080p.

Not sure how to fix z-buffering other than painting over it frame by frame. That would take awhile though. :)
