Al Salam International Hospital (S.I.H.) is a 202 beds, state-of-the-art facility that occupies a multi-storey building. Al Salam International Hospital hosts a multitude of obstetric, pediatric, medical and surgical specialties and services staffed with highly qualified and trained clinical and non-clinical workforce stemming from different origins. As a commitment to Excellence in Patient Care, and utilising the Accreditation Canada standards as the tool to fulfilling this vision, SIH ensures the acquisition of state-of-the-art medical equipment provides continuing education programs to its staff to keep abreast with the latest advances in medicine and undertakes a total Quality Management Program.

Al Salam International Hospital has undertaken a commitment by signing with Accreditation Canada in May 2008 to sit for Accreditation . Compliance with Accreditation Canada standards, which address and revamp hospitals systems and processes, provides a visible commitment to continuous and sustained improvement in the quality healthcare services delivered by the S.I.H. to its client population.

On the campus are residences that provide convenient housing for physicians, directors, managers and nursing staff, and for on-call technical personnel.

Planned along the highest standards of the industry to represent the pinnacle private medicine, Al Salam International Hospital is designed to operate, primarily, as a special secondary care facility. Fortunately, the flexibility and extended capacity of the facility to over 175 beds is allowing it to also provide a variety of new tertiary care services such as dialysis. These services are limited in the private medical facilities in Kuwait.

The S.I.H also offers a wide range of special clinic services designed to assist the particular needs of the population such as: Dental services, Diabetes and Hypertension, Dialysis, Obesity, Maternal-child healthcare including home visiting, Allergy, the Dietetic Service, and many more."
