Vidya Balan is a Bad Bad Girl

Vidya Balan is soon going to be seen in a negative role. The actress plays a cold-blooded vamp for the first time in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Ishqiya. But when asked about the sudden role reversal, all she said was, “Hush.” Vidya was cornered by us at a jewellery store launch in Pune, where she was invited as a special guest. The actress has done all she could to break out of her traditional image. Going for a short hairdo, and including a lot of westerns in her wardrobe (without much help from an actual designer) and even slipping under the covers for a suggestive photo-shoot have been some of the attempts. But this time, Vidya attempted nothing new and managed to look pretty good. The actress was back to her best look — the desi one. In a broad bordered magenta sari, Vidya roamed the swanky store trying one exquisite piece of jewellery after another. “My sari is heavy, as is the jewellery, but I’m not complaining because when you’re looking good, you don’t really mind the weight,” she said happily.
