1985- Episode 252-

CC wants to know Kelly's feelings for Nick. Kelly replies that Joe is the only man she loves and that Nick is a friend. Then Mason phones to CC: there'll have a press conference at the Mesa.

Christy goes to her new apartment. Theda wants to take care of her and says they are a family now. Steve arrives and says the district attorney wants to prosecute Ted.

The doctor says he doesn't know if Kelly's memory will come back. He wants her to rest now. Then Kelly looks at a photo of Joe and says she'll never forget him.
Nick decides to propose to Kelly.

Mason makes a speech to defend Ted. He says that Ted isn't guilty and that Steve only thinks about his career. Then he says that Ted has helped Christy to find a job, and Christy, for her part, hasn't an exemplary life. He tells she's a thief and a liar and that she has provoked someone into attacking her. Ted doesn't agree and Mary too.
Then Steve says that he'll do everything to charge Ted and that there's a witness. Theda reassures Christy.
