  • Has it been released on dvd?

  • @Bizarronumber4 It must have been. Sadly, nobody knows this movie in my country (Hungary), so I had to watch the warez version with portuguese subs x)....

  • Awesome movie! i grew up with this movie since 93 when i was 12 watching it on TBS with Heavy Metal, Vampire Hunter D, Robot Carnival, Hey Good Looking, Watership Down and Rock and Rule. I was hooked into mature audiences animation since and bought this when it finally came to video at 17, the scene where Zalmie's mom died and him saying good bye made me cry and this ranks with Grave of the Fireflies in terms of great animated dramas.

  • @Johnlindsey289 I just love Heavy Metal. Greatest B-movie ever.

  • best scene in the movie, hands down. The one where Frankie dies is a close second. <3 this movie!!!!!!

  • @sexyhippy My fav one is the "Hell is for children".

  • So...grace slick was a red head that dressed like flapperish....wow...bakshi never ceased to amaze me as to how I wouldnt really ever want to do something. He seems to "dumb everything down and make it more greasy...like greaser-greasy...sorry I wasnt a "rocker" or a mod for that matter.I just dont understand....maybe if i were a lot younger.

  • When I saw this, I was like "I'm gonna be sick, I'm gonna have a seizure!" But when I saw this all the way to the end, now I'm like "wow". A little weird and creepy at the end though.

  • @HUNspike I'm with you dude!

  • Marcy Levy is singing this version - the vocalist for Eric Clapton in the 70's, later a member of Shakespears Sister in the 80's/90's and then solo artist as Marcella Detroit. She's about to release a new album very soon.

  • @Bizarronumber4 it has... but i have only seen one copy and havent been able to find it...

  • @HUNspike Yeah Man, that's my favorite secuence of the whole film.

  • @MokRodrigues

Does the rotoscoping animation in this movie remind you of the similar techniques used in Avatar, the upcoming TinTin and Beowulf?
