Faron Young "He Stopped Loving Her Today"

Faron Young did a cover of the classic George Jones song? Apparently so, because it shocked even me! UPDATE: I managed to find more info on this track. It was a track on a little-heard 1982 album of his for the 51 West label entitled "Black Tie Cowboy".

Luvaguitar2, man did you hit the nail on the head, I have been saying close to the same thing for years. heres my take, farron was or could have been a great pop singer ,but george is all hillbilly a texas boy and dam proud of it, so country so so good, and the music is perfect to have with beer
