Gamera 2000 Stage 5 (ePSXe 1.6)

It's a bird, it's a plane! No, it's Gamera goes Godzilla, with double headed dinos! (DOUBLE HEADED GYAOS, good lord, people just won't understand lame attempts at joking) Can't get weirder than this... Oh, actually, yes, it can.

Notice how the lasers remind you of Rando Doura (sp?), that's the giant water "thing" from PD Zwei's glorious stage 4.

Indeed. You can only control him indirectly in some stages (using Gamera for a massive guided attack that lasts for 20 seconds or so). It's a pity because everyone wanted to play as Gamera... Maybe one day we'll get a game like that.

Kick-ass! Yeah, I just remember playing it as a little kid (my dad imported it from Japan for me) and it was so grueling! And the boss was frigging huge!!! And at the time, it looked freaking amazing. And defeating it was so gratifying...In fact, this game had tons of cool bosses!

I concur. The bosses are really nice. btw, the videos are up and I also agree: it was highly rewarding to own those last bosses. Huge lasers and great Gamera rock!

Personally, I think it still looks decent despite all the years. I love shooters on-rails.

amen godzilla could kick gameras ass and thats not just personal oppinion godzilla is stronger and is immune to anything gamera can throw at him cause hes invincible and has a better special ability.
