One of my all time favorite Ballads often executed, there are many different interpretations, I always enjoyed the Chet Baker version . (which he played his whole career), I did an earlier version but re-harmonized this beautiful ballad with another chord-voicing.Played here on my Epiphone-Riviera, Strings: Thomastik-Infeld 011 set. Plugged straight into my Folio Notepad mixer (Soundcraft),no pre-amp used. Used a small mxr-compressor for a punchy tone.Hope you enjoy, for more Info: http://www.jazzguts.com

Hi Vic, I was just finishing up and ran through a couple of my unread emails and found I had forgotten to listen to your posted tune "My Funny Valentine". A tune I liked playing on my sax and found your concept warm and enjoyable listening to. You are a maestro and will always be, thanks for posting and 5* it is, as usual. Greets, John (Willemstad)

Maestro, wow! Listened to this 3 times in a row, still fascinated. Voicing of the theme very beautiful, spacial, logical. Then two chorusses with similar elegance, some far out notes added in the second one, but without ever loosing the connection to the melody and the spirit of the song... you make me smile with my heart...
