I did catch a brief clip of this Rick with the original Monica. I agree - he DEFINITELY had better chemistry with her than Charleson.
And, since the original actress was "rudely" fired and replaced with Charleson, I also wonder if there may have been some real-life animosity or resentment toward Charleson that may have affected the chemistry. Let's not forget, Leslie Charleson was a recast & did not originate the role.

This Rick seems like a bit of a jerk and, has ZERO chemistry with Leslie Charleson.
I think Chris Robinson was a better choice in the long run. Monica cheating on Alan with this Rick would be a huge stretch.

Rick was always with Monica. While they thought he was dead, she married his brother Jeff (Richard Dean Anderson). As soon as Rick arrived, trouble started with Jeff and Monica. Then of course Heather arrived! LOL I was all wrapped up in them back then, but once Alan arrived and he and Monica sparked that was it for Rick. I was all about Alan and Monica.
