That's great stuff man! I've got a couple of harmonicas - but how do I re-tune them?

Sounds great! I justed started with harmonica. I started playing melodies and it works fine. But when I place the harp in the neck holder it's completly different and I can't hit any note.

=O ur playing them at the same time! i love the sound ~

I recommend you buy a Lee Oskar Melody Maker in D (Em) for this tune--
Although I prefer Hohners, they don't make them in this tuning.
And then play cross harp!

Cool :) what kind of harmonica is it and how is it tuned??

D major! But it's been retuned. The blow notes are G B D E G B D E G B, the draw notes are A C# E F# A C# E F# A C#. The tuning is the same over the entire Harmonica. I have also built a slide version of this tuning.
It is not my tuning, it's by Magic Dick of the J Geils band--I constructed this one from a low E Special 20, and the covers are Turbolids.

Great job! What key harmonica are you using?

Well . . . the notes are D major! But it's been retuned beyond belief. The blow notes are G B D E G B D E G B and the draw notes are A C# E F# A C# E F# A C#--notice the tuning is the same over the entire harmonica.
It is not my tuning, it's by Magic Dick of the J Geils band--I constructed it from a low E Special 20, and those are Turbolids.
All notes of the chromatic scale are available with draw bends except for Bb, and you have to OB that, but it's not too hard (ha ha).
Thanks!
