I do apologize about the lighting in this video. It was around 3am and the light just wasn't enough for recording.
Anyway, this is a flash pattern generator I developed along with a small red light module as a proof of concept for myself. The "light bar" itself is made from 2 side panel flash lights from the wal-to-wal mart!
The cost of the "light bar" is roughly $20 per flash light and the flash pattern generator cost roughly $30. To reduce costs I played with making my own light strip (red box) and will be making a larger one soon. The flash pattern generator will also be reduced to between $15 and $20.
