Great stuff! The Bay City Rollers' cover version of The Four Season's "Bye Bye Baby" was a very fine single, and spent 6 weeks at the very top of the UK singles charts - deservedly, imho - in March and April of 1975.
As a child, growing up in Norwich during the 1970's, I always thought that The B.C.R'.s single, "Bye Bye Baby" was similar to a classic song by The Beatles - "She Loves You " - which had topped the charts some 12 years earlier, in 1963.
@yallop9 Yes indeed; I noticed that myself, as a matter of fact! I guess that even in those halycon days of 1975, not EVERY female in the land - between the ages of 11 and 18 - had the hots for The Bay City Rollers. That said, the B.C.R.'s were unquestionably the teen sensations of Britain at the time "Bye Bye Baby" was number 1 in the charts.
Back in March of 1975, i certainly did not have the hots for The Rollers! (Hardly surprising, really, given that i was only 10 - and male!)
@melfnt That's what your dick has on it (shit) after you buggered him you fucking useless wanker. Get your illiterate friend (s) to read his biography and they'll tell you (cause you can't read) or Wiki/Google the facts from your intercafe or library computer, you tosser
@melfnt and he's full of cider and sperm and melfnt was his latest conquest. Check out the Amhust Arms, corner of Downs Park Road, Hackney London E8 each night you prat and you'll apologise and learn how to spell you dunce
Sad what happened to them in the end. There manager ripped them off completely, and went to jail for it. They ended up with nothing.

Considering this was the height of Rollermania, the girls in the audience look rather subdued.

One of the most horrible remakes and nr.1's ever...grhhhh...for the Four seasons with Frankie Valli were actually quite decent.
