  • @1JonasLoveForever1 Yes, i have. I didn't say i put my heels up. Now in horsemanship, she would get placed lower. Again, WP is the horses ability to perform the desired western type, not the riders ability to keep there heels down.

  • @AppaDaisy96 Have you ever shown Western Pleasure? You will get placed lower if you have your heels up.

  • U didnt train this horse did you... Thats not much to call yourself a proud winner if you didnt train it. I trained mine for 4 years and when i win i can say i know why and be proud of it.

  • @0purple0oranges0 I agree with Sstation312. It is whatever you're more comfortable with. HOWEVER, the old tradition is to ride with your left, because if you were a cowboy you would rope with your right. Just food for thought ;) and yes, usually you start to the right.

  • @Greyladylove I agree with you %100!

  • @farmmiss It wouldn't matter if her toes are pointed downward in this class or not. The judges are looking for the horses ability to perform and them enjoying their job.

  • @AdoptAPet44 Its actually really hard. My WP mare was all leg and spur. I was not allowed to use my reins at all unless I was in horsemanship and it was very slight. Every single cue for that horse is leg and spur, even to stop we did not use reins.

  • @westernpleasuresarah You are right! I am 11 and I have done english until I bought a western pleasure horse, and it was sooooooo hard and 1st:/But now I place in all my western classes:)

  • easiest type of riding ranked right above trail and dinkin around

  • she needs to keep her heels down more every close up her toes are pointed downward. the only thing i can say about the horse is that the rear needs a little more movement, most of the trot looked like the back end was just walking.
