to be honest, I got the hair in a small shop in france and I can't remember the name. If you want to achieve that style though, just buy whatever hair you like (making sure it's not too slippery, otherwise it'll fall out after a couple days, i've experienced). Even if you don't buy the 'wavy' 'krimpy' or 'curly' type of hair, when you're done braiding the whole head, make a couple of big braids and dip it in hot water and then unbraid the big braids. That should do the trick!

I have a kinda unrelated question...Are microtwist(one's with extenions) bad for natural hair? I was thinking of getting some.

You just have to watch out for the hairline because you don't want it pulling at the scalp. I'd say go for it, but avoid putting your hair up in a ponytail because that's when the extensions get pulled.

We went to Berlin, Hannover, Recklinghausen and Düsseldorf. I lived in Germany for two years (teaching English) and my family is taking a tour around Europe for the month of July.
