Esta es la primera parte de un video de una de las rutas más extremas que tenemos aquí a nuestra alcanze: después de unos pocos kilómetros en terracería ancha, llega uno a Carretillas, y ahí empieza una vereda técnica que no deja de bajar por más de 16 kms... Si tomas un momento para descansar los hombros en la bajada verás que los paisajes están increíbles y la ruta padrísima - juntando Coatepec on El Cofre de Perote de forma muy directa. This is the first part of a seven minute video showing some of the sections from a 16km long singletrack downhill that descends from high altitude mountain-side villages below the peak of the Cofre de Perote mountain (4275m) and spits you out of the cloud forest into the coffee capital of Coatepec. Sadly we don't have the whole trail on film, mainly because a 1 hour plus long film would be ridiculous, but also it's such a fun trail that we haven't yet managed to stop on a lot of the sections! When you do manage to stop though, you'll notice the views are just incredible, and often to both sides of the trail there can be 800 metre high drops down into forested valleys. This is endless technical singletrack at its best, and when you've descended over 2000 metres on singletrack in one descent, there's no way you'll not be smiling while you sip that award-winning coffee at the end of the day.

hey que tal, oye yo cada año armo una ruta atavezando veracruz pero enlazamos perote con xico, que te pareceria organizar esa ruta con tu variante de ruta, tu guias de tembladeras a coatepec y yo de xico a chachalacas...
