Rescuing Haiti's Orphans

The most painful pictures of all from Haiti are those of suffering children. As Manuel Gallegus reports, Americans who've been trying to adopt Haitian orphans want to speed up the process.

The best thing, imho, would be to bring those who were already in orphanages in and around Port-a-Prince prior to the quake, to the U.S. Whether as refugees, or humanitarian, or whatever, temporarily or permanently. The point is that ALL of them need loving homes, plenty of Americans are willing to provide that, the haitian hospitals and careworkers are overwhelmed, and the orphanages should empty out to make room for the new orphans and so that parent-child matches can be made.

Why are you all being so negative and awful? I don't understand you! Sure there's plenty of people here in America that need help.  But the poor here in America do not even compare to the poverty of the average person in Haiti, let alone the orphans. We are the nearest country that can help them.

I cant begin to think how the people who wrote such nasty stuff and bashing Haiti can sleep comfy in their beds. If a marine can hunt you down and waste you, so can I. Ever had the crap beaten out of you with a baseball bat? Don't piss me off! America is responsible for helping Haiti. We encroached on them with a military force many years ago. I guess you dumbasses wouldnt know that, since you are really stupid people. So, helping them, is helping us. Semper Fi!
