Obama Trading in Contradictions

BARACK OBAMA: I believe in free trade, and as somebody who lived overseas, who has family overseas, I've seen what's happened in terms of rising living standards around the globe, and that's a good thing for America, it's good for our national security.

That's why I opposed NAFTA, that's why I voted against CAFTA, that's why it didn't make sense to normalize trade relations with China without asking more from China. I will oppose the Columbia Free Trade Agreement.

He says he supports free trade but opposes NAFTA. NAFTA doesn't represent all free trade, just trade in N America. Every quote in which he says he supports free trade, there is no mention of NAFTA. They are putting together clips of different contexts to make it seem like he contradicts himself, when he hasn't.

This is nothing. What about his position that Jerusalem should be the undivided capital of Israel? His AIPAC speech drew cheers but the Palestinian Authority complained; so Obama changed his mind and issued a clarifying statement the very next day.
