superb song but such a shame emimusic provided us with such a poor audio quality

@cinemax3 ZMusic was in a deep financial hole from their start-up. It was purchased by the Gaylord Group, moved (from where they were located in Lake Helen, FL) to Nashville and dissolved after a few more years of bare-bone existence. Sadly, ZMusic was a little too early on the scene as the Cable and satellite providers did not have enough capacity for them to exist at that time. Now we have hundreds of "open" channels and no ZMusic.

I broke into Christian music through Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith crossover in '91, but "Soul" is the first exclusive Christian album I bought.
I wash dishes and do housework with Margaret on my iPod. But during this song, I take a break and act out most of her moves from this video.
Probably one of my all-time favorite songs ever!

I've been rediscovering Margaret Becker again, and wow am I glad I have! Just listened to her second album "The Reckoning" for the first time in a long time, and I'd forgotten just how great of an album that is and what a great artist she is. This is also a terrific song and performance. Keep our mind on God and don't get distracted!

Keep my mind ... the first single in the soul album.
Delivers the good pop music created about those years, when Charlie Peackcock lead the greatest Christian artists in the 90's .. nice song and lyrics.
