  • The EGBABONEHIMWIN dance has been the cultural dance of Esan people of the Edo state. You must be born there to hnow to do this effectively. As for CAPOIRA of Brazil.it is quite clear, straight from west African accestors, possibly tied around this EGBABONEHIMWIN ESAN DANCE.KANDONBLE of Brazil or orishe of Cuba are tied to the yoruba's origin.Major numbers of the slaves were from the west African coast Camenroon--Mauritania,i tkink DNA Test has proved that.CHEERS.

  • I am from Benin City,i think you are refaring to IWEGBU CULRURALDANCE from somewhere in the then midwestern State. The music that accomplish the box is quite chilling,i remember i saw them at Ogbe stadium in Benin city ,during one of those Midwest state cultural festival(it was bi-anual events then).i tkink they were from the eastern the part of the then Midwest State.Somebody from that part Nigeria should throw more light on this mystic fantastic African cultural display.

  • @ikn001...............Broda's this dance is strictly Esan dance it originated from a hunter who normally goes out at night for hunting.............I'm an Esan Man Or Ishan, Ishan is the translated form from the white colonian masters.
