I think you need to be more open minded to the benifits on online dating. By meeting someone online does not mean you have issues or are anti social it could just mean that you know that there is nobody in your immediate circle you would want to be in a relationship with. If a person is online dating I would say the fact they are looking for company proves they are not anti social.

Dating, Love & Money: Never co-sign, meet up at free or low cost places (bookstores/parks/cafes), don't date or marry illegal immigrants (google marriage fraud), run a credit check on potential partners, learn to pass the check & go dutch, often when you lend money you lose the lover & the money, never send money to people online, meet in public when online dating, listen to your gut, spend time getting to know the other person before marriage.
