  • wow god works in great ways because i was praying yesterday because i lost the burn the fire and here he is talking to me kansas guy :)

  • I have a Christian friend who sleeps in on Sunday and stays away from people in the church w/ a somewhat prideful heart. He's a pretty strong Christian who shares his faith (not like alot of us do that huh?) but says that he lacks excitement in his life and that he is always bored. I pray that God opens his eyes to his pride and slothfulness and comes to community as Jesus prayed that we all be one in Unity.

  • @aaroncbailey i hope so. that would mean that his talks are working, that christ is using him to touch lives.

  • the title of this one makes me think about Amazon ebooks.

if Drisc's books were on there I would probably get a Kindle

  • I wonder if anyone took him up on his free book from the bookstore offer haha

  • This is a great message. The analogy about fire, kindling, and proper method for sustaining our BURN for God is fantastic!

  • Hmmm. I can't seem to find this sermon in the podcast, Is it online?

  • in my life I have seen prayer to be the best of these "kindling" for my life to be on fire. Not offering prayer requests, not giving the A.C.T.S format for prayer, not reciting "our father's". An intimate focused time that shuts everything else for an extended period of time in thanksgiving, expressing my love, asking for maturity, and seeking Him in the Scripture, especially in the Psalms.

    Thanks for the reminder Mark
